Make Your New Years Resolution to Train at the International WrestleCenter
They say that you become a professional wrestler the same way that you become a doctor: you go to school. But as any doctor knows, the first step to getting a great education is picking the right place to study. With no shortage of professional wrestling schools in the United States, let alone in Southern California, it can be a lot to sift through to unearth a reputable training facility. Well look no further, as the United Wrestling Network International WrestleCenter is now accepting new students for the 2018 class beginning in January. But why train with United?
The WrestleCenter is the only training facility on the West Coast that will teach you how to be on television with an actual television show. Located less than ten minutes away from the Oceanview Pavilion (where Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is recorded), the school is developed and operated with the same resources that make our national programming possible. With the eye for television always overseeing classes at the WrestleCenter, our students are put directly in line for televised opportunities in several of the United promotions, including Championship Wrestling From Arizona and Combat Zone Wrestling. Three of our top students had matches on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood in 2017 and the school itself has produced mainstays of the CWFH main roster, notably former United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Champion Dan Joseph.
Who are the trainers? The WrestleCenter is led by head trainers “Professional” Peter Avalon and Impact Wrestling Global Champion Eli Drake. It is frequented by guest trainers such as Rocky Romero, Marty Scurll, Finn Balor, Joey Ryan, and Billy Gunn.
Says head trainer Peter Avalon on the advantages of training with United, “I have over ten years experience in wrestling. Eight of those have been on television. I have appeared on numerous major television wrestling outlets and have worked with some of the top wrestlers in the world. I have trained people who have gone on to tryouts and have helped to mold people on the Indy scene today. If you want to be a well-rounded television wrestler, the WrestleCenter is your spot.”
This all sound great, but tight on cash? No need to worry. For the 2018 class, the WrestleCenter is now offering Free Tuition to all new students. No joking around, classes will be 100% free going forward. Start 2018 off right by signing up to train to be a Professional Wrestler at the United Wrestling Network International WrestleCenter!
The UWN International WrestleCenter is located at

PP3 Spotlight: Andy Brown
By R.O. Brown
Championship Wrestling From Hollywood has had quite a collection of charismatic characters walk through their doors. From hobos and masked men with cotton bellies to cult leaders and bad dudes, Hollywood has always been the place to be for the personality inclined. But now it’s time to get funky. One of 2017’s newest additions, “Uptown” Andy Brown, is here to have fun and look good doing it. The Southern California native has already made a name for himself in the wrestling world and now his sights are set on the Percy Pringle III Cup. Knowing fully well that anyone who holds the PP3 Cup can challenge for any title of their choice, Brown’s intentions are clear.
When Hollywoodwrestling.com asked Brown who he’d like to face if he were to win the PP3 Cup, Andy replied with his signature smile, “All of the champions for sure, but also guys like Rocky Romero, Ryan Taylor, ‘Professional’ Peter Avalon, Ray Rosas, Watts and even Coach Flexo.” Brown may seem like all fun and games on the surface, but when he gets hit in the face he’s quick to remind us that he is one of the best strikers in CWFH. Having been a champion everywhere he’s gone, holding both tag team titles and singles gold, Andy is no stranger to the successes that come from hard work.
“I had to fight hard to get where I am now, but I never forget to put a smile on my face to show everyone that if I can do it, they can too,” says the Bruno Mars of professional wrestling. The PP3 Cup tournament has always been a place for competitors to prove themselves at Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, and now that the tournament will be seen by a larger audience than ever before, there’s never been a better time for a fresh young talent like Brown to show the world what he’s got. There’s no guarantee who will walk out of the Oceanview Pavilion with the PP3 Cup, but you can bet that “Uptown” Andy Brown will make a name for himself and dance his way into the hearts and minds of CWFH fans the world over. Don’t believe him, just watch.
PP3 Spotlight: Kevin Condron
By R.O. Brown
Championship Wrestling from Hollywood has played host to many decorated competitors in the past. Countless names and faces have used it as a platform to launch themselves onto the national and international stage. It is with this in mind that Kevin Condron and his Social Media Manager, Thomas, have joined the ranks here in Hollywood. Kevin is no stranger to the squared circle, having competed against a number of the best professional wrestlers in the world at some of the most elite promotions in the United Wrestling Network. But no United company boasts the national television audience that Championship Wrestling From Hollywood does, and Condron wants a piece of that spotlight.
“I want fame. I want glory. I want every mother, father & child in America to look upon my face and realize that truth is also beautiful. The only place for me to ascend to greatness doing it my way is Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.”
When asked by HollywoodWrestling.com who Kevin has his sights set on at the moment he replied with only one name, “I am most eager to do battle with Peter Avalon. After he and I had a physical confrontation at Championship Wrestling from Arizona, I have not been able to release my resentment towards him.” The Vaping Wonder clearly has some issues to work out with the “Biggest Man in Professional Wrestling,” who happens to be the longest reigning Hollywood Heritage Champion in CWFH history.
Aside from “Professional” Peter Avalon, Condron has stated that he will continue to climb the ranks of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood until his accolades include not only the Hollywood Heritage Championship but the good ol’ “Ten Pounds of Gold” itself, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. The first step in this process is none other than the PP3 Cup Tournament. Condron, who was last seen “casting a spell” on the annual tournament, intends to use the prestigious cup to elevate his status at CWFH by challenging for any title he chooses within the United Wrestling Network. With Thomas in tow, a vape in his back pocket, and a lust for glory in his eyes, you can bet on Kevin Condron being quite the contender in the Percival Pringle III Memorial Tournament come January.
The United Wrestling Network and the NWA
On October 1, 2017 former Impact Wrestling President Billy Corgan and Impact Producer David Lagana left the promotion to helm the storied National Wrestling Alliance. Also on that day they contacted acting United President and CWFH Executive Producer David Marquez to create a relationship that would bring the famous “10 lbs. of Gold”, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, back to national television via CWFH and Championship Wrestling from Arizona programming. Tim Storm, Nick Aldis and Jocephus have all been seen and accepted by our TV audience with great fanfare. Many fans have been speculating on how the NWA title will be featured once the United World Championship is crowned later this year. HollywoodWrestling.com recently caught up with David Marquez and asked the man himself.
“The NWA Worlds Championship is a very special piece of pro wrestling. I’m not just talking about the history, but the image itself,” says Marquez. “When Lightning One (the NWA’s parent company) approached me about working with them in getting the iconic ’10 lbs. of gold’ back on television I couldn’t say no. They knew from the get go that we were in the process of crowning our own champion in 2018, but the United title isn’t the NWA Title. But I do hope that someday it will be seen in the same light. So when we do have our World Champion, we still plan on showcasing the NWA Champion as a special featured attraction across United.”
At print time, NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis is scheduled to appear on CWFH several times in 2018, including being featured in the main event on two upcoming United branded international cards. For more info on the National Wrestling Alliance, please follow @NWA on Twitter and Instagram.
Sweet Charlotte: A CWFH Weekend Preview
We kick off this week’s program with a barn-burner of a PP3 qualifier as Julius Coleman takes on Ray Rosas. Coleman has been on a hot streak in the last few months on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, showing the fans that he can hang with anyone, including the man who keeps sticking his nose in Ray Rosas’ business, “Professional” Peter Avalon. Ray Rosas recently lost an opportunity for a Hollywood Heritage Championship match due to the involvement of Peter Avalon and The Office. Will this tag team veteran continue to have issues with one-on-one competition against Julius Coleman or will the PP3 be proving grounds for Ray Rosas as a singles star in Hollywood?
PP3 qualifying action continues as four competitors step into the ring for one spot in the tournament. First is fan favorite “Uptown” Andy Brown, who earned this opportunity by scoring victories in the fall of this year. Brown is joined by tag team wrestler Espiritu, who is separated from partner Astro Viajero in this Four Way Dance to show his abilities as an individual. Unfortunately for Brown and Espiritu, the remaining two men in this qualifier are Howdy Price’s Rancheros. Raul and Rogelio have made a tear through the entire Championship Wrestling From Hollywood roster since debuting this year, which spells bad news for the two other men between the ropes with them. Though entered into this match as individuals, one would think that the Rancheros would be working in tandem. What will this mean for all involved since only one man can qualify?
History will be made in our Main Event, as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will be defended after a five-year absence in the company. Champion Tim Storm has demonstrated over the last several weeks that he’ll take on all comers and Nick Aldis will not be denied a title match. Aldis aims to use his stamina and youth to outlast Storm, who is over twenty years older than the challenger. The age gap could prove to be the difference maker for these men. With age comes experience and Tim Storm’s experience has shown to be just as effective as Aldis’ youth. How will the two match up as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm defends the “Ten Pounds of Gold” against Nick Aldis on this week’s episode of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood? Tune in and find out!
Be Well: A CWFH Weekend Preview
It’s PP3 Cup season on Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Before the tournament kicks off in 2018, the participants must earn their way into the starting brackets. On this episode you’ll see two qualifying matches unfold. The team of Royce Isaacs and Devin Sparks takes on Falco and Lucas Riley to advance two competitors into the tournament. Later in the episode you’ll see a Four-Way Dance comprising of Brody King, Bateman, “Professional” Peter Avalon and Suede Thompson to secure the next spot in the PP3 Cup.
What sound could possibly match the sweet, heavenly voice of Howdy Price? Possibly only the whistle of Coach Flexo. The United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Championship will be on the line this week as The Rancheros challenge Pac 3 in what promises to be a noise-filled contest. How will these men control themselves?
The Hollywood Heritage Champion will be in action this week, getting in the ring with Ty Matthews. What motive could Matthews have for requesting this match against Bad Dude Tito just weeks before Tito takes on Ty’s confidant, Watts? Will this encounter spell gold for Hyperoptimism or will the master plan fade to black? Find out on this week’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood!
Jocephus Threatens William Patrick Corgan, Intends to Confront Storm at Milestone
Tim Storm’s days as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion are numbered according to Nashville wrestling star Jocephus. This chain-swinging brawler is dissatisfied with the result of his last encounter with Tim Storm and will make his way to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood on December 3rd to rectify what he considers a “great error.”
“Tim’s not a Champion. He’s a thief,” proclaims Jocephus with a scowl. A number of tactics employed by the Worlds Heavyweight Champion during their title bout on November 17 have gotten under the bearded bruiser’s skin. Jocephus is most irate over an eye rake that Storm seemingly executed on the challenger as referee Robert King called for a clean break in the corner. It was this maneuver that urged Jocephus to single out William Patrick Corgan at his private recording studio.
“He sees that Tim Storm got in the eye and that I deserve a rematch,” says Jocephus, taking comfort in whatever words were exchanged inside Corgan’s sound-proof recording booth. Here is a closer look at the situation, courtesy of the National Wrestling Alliance:
If Jocephus is as unpredictable as he is persistent, this will be an event you’ll have to see live to believe. What will NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm do when Jocephus shows up at the Oceanview Pavilion on December 3rd? See for yourself as Championship Wrestling From Hollywood presents Milestone!
Tim Storm will be in Action at Milestone
“I’ll take on anybody that the NWA sanctions,” says the cool-headed Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Tim Storm. “As a World Champion, the fighting champion, there’s nobody that I won’t take on.” As Tim Storm gears up to return to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood this Sunday at Milestone, he is comfortable stepping into the ring with any opponent knowing that he will have the crowd on his side. With the resurgence of the National Wrestling Alliance and the popularity of the “Ten Pounds of Gold” video series, Tim Storm has more fans than ever before. But with prominence comes detractors, and the Champion is not immune to colleagues who don’t take kindly to his success.
Challenges to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship have kept Tim Storm a busy man in 2017. Recent challenger Jocephus hasn’t taken kindly to Storm leaving their bout with the Ten Pounds of Gold still in his clutch. Nick Aldis has been bellyaching about his loss to Storm since their title match on November 12, saying that the pin “shouldn’t have counted.” Both of these men have continued to follow the Champion, demanding a rematch among the mass of new challengers requesting title shots from the NWA. Stars like Tommy Dreamer have formally requested an opportunity at the Worlds Heavyweight Championship, as have Championship Wrestling From Hollywood alumni Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Joey Janela. Tim Storm has been transparent about his potential future opponents.
“I haven’t hidden from any challenger. I’m open to all competition,” says Storm amid a sea of title match requests. “I know what it was like for me to reach that mountaintop and I think that anybody that has that competitive nature to step up to the plate and take a shot, they deserve that right.”
Who will be following the man with the Ten Pounds of Gold to the Oceanview Pavilion? The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm will be in action on December 3rd as Championship Wrestling From Hollywood presents Milestone! You won’t want to miss out!
