Devin Sparks Replaced in PP3 Tournament

Living the lifestyle of an international superstar invites challenges from around the world. Unfortunately for the “American Kaiju” Devin Sparks, the challenges of Japanese strong style got the better of him in a recent matchup. HollywoodWrestling.com has learned that Sparks suffered a concussion at a live event outside Tokyo, Japan that has rendered him unable to compete in the upcoming PP3 Cup Tournament. But with one of the PP3 competitors out, who will take Devin’s place? We reached out to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood minority owner Nikko Marquez for an answer.
Devin Sparks won the World Heritage Invitational in 2017 for a shot at Bad Dude Tito
“I’m always prepared for things like this,” says the collected Marquez. “After hearing about Mr. Sparks’ accident, I immediately picked up the phone and called the man who’s going to take his place. That man is Ricky Mandel.”

Nikko Marquez’ choice to replace Devin Sparks isn’t without merit. Ricky Mandel won the 2014 PP3 Cup Tournament and used Percy’s Privilege to capture the Hollywood Heritage Championship that same year. With the record book showing that Mandel has been there and done that, will history be able to repeat itself? Stay tuned to the PP3 Cup Tournament, kicking off in January!
We wish “The American Kaiju” Devin Sparks a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood in the New Year.
